Testprinzip: ER-Tracker Green is the glibenclamide drug fluorescently conjugated with Molecular Probes' BODIPY FL. Glibenclamide (glyburide) is a type 2 diabetes therapeutic that binds to the sulphonylurea receptors of ATP-sensitive potassium channels (KATP channels) localized mainly on the endoplasmic reticulum. Thus the BODIPY FL-conjugated glibenclamide (ER-Tracker Green) can be used as an ER-specific fluorescent probe to label the ER in live cells, but not the ER in fixed cells.
