Testprinzip: Beyotime's Quick Blunting Kit allows rapid conversion of 5' and 3' overhangs of DNA fragments to blunt ends. Conversion of the two types of overhang can be accomplished simultaneously by the 3'→5' DNA exonuclease and 5'→3' DNA polymerase activities of T4 DNA polymerase (D7052) which is contained in the Blunting Enzyme Mix supplied by the kit. The Blunting Enzyme Mix also contains T4 Polynucleotide Kinase (D7098) that can phosphorylate the 5' ends and catalyze the conversion of 3'- phosphate to 3'-hydroxyl by its 3'-dephosphorylase activity.
