Testprinzip: Senescence-Tracker™ NIR consists of a DCM (Dicyanomethylene-4H-pyran)-derived NIR fluorophore, a glycosidic bond recognized by β-gal, and a self-immolative linker. Upon entering senescent cells, the glycosidic bond is cleaved by intracellular β-gal, converting the self-immolative portion into quinone methides (QMs), thereby activating the NIR fluorophore to generate a strong fluorescent signal.
